Detach the SIM
(Subscriber Identity Module) Card from the plastic holder. Care should be taken not to
damage the magnetic portion (yellow square).
Switch off the mobile
phone and remove the battery from the phone (refer your user guide of phone).
Insert the SIM Card in
the handset. For assistance see the user guide of your mobile phone or approach to nearest
mobile Registration Centre.
After inserting the SIM
replace the battery and switch on the mobile
Your phone will ask to
enter PIN1. Please ensure that the PIN1 is entered correctly otherwise mobile gets blocked
if entered three consecutive times wrongly. The request for PIN can be deactivated using
your phone guide by which the mobile will not ask to enter the PIN whenever you switch on.
To unblock, enter the PUK1 with the help of user guide of your mobile phone.
If PUK1 is entered
wrongly ten consecutive times, your SIM card will become unusable and has to be replaced
with new ones on charge basis.
When you are in the
coverage area your mobile displays IN-69 or INA-69 or 404 69 with which you can make or
receive calls.
